Ok, the big surprise a few might have heard about:
I cut my hair.
Ok, so nearly everyone gets thier hair cut. What's the big deal? I cut off 10+ inches of hair and I am going to donate it to locks of love . Now my hair is shoulder length like it was in elementary, maybe a tad bit shorter. Just an FYI if you were curious...

I have never felt so free and happy. This past half week has been the best time I've had in a really long time. Ok, so who really cares, I know. So, why am I feeling so uplifting from my most recent state of depression? Here's why... ***builds suspence***... I unofficially broke up with my oldest friend ever. I've known Naomi since 3rd grade, when she moved to Austin.
When friends break up, shouldn't they go into depression rather than come out of it? That's what you'd usually think, but not this particular time. Our communication has been going down hill for a couple of years now. This school year, we have really talked about twice. I started calling more frequently trying to catch her, and asking for her to call me back. When she was busy, but picked up the phone, she'd tell me she would call back. I only remember one phone call from her. She called to tell me she could not talk because she was busy with a friend. I even tried leaving her alone without a single contact for about 2 or 3 months. I started to feel taken for granted and I started getting really depressed. Everything in my life had started going down hill, or so it seemed.
Through some advice from a good friend, I decided on an aproach to talk to her about this. My friend suggested that I go to her and ask her advice for a "friend" which was really herself. Then I should use the advice on her. I even was to slipp and say 'he' and 'him' a few times. I talked to her on Wednesday, carrying out this plan. Naomi mannaged to see right through this. She got mad at me and I tried to stay calm. We got into an argument. I kinda burned our friendship bridge. Thus we are unofficially broken up.
I can't say I haven't thought about Naomi these last few days. It would be heartless for me to do so. I knew this was going to happen. I had been preparing myself for it for about the last year. When it happened, I was as ready as I could ever be for our break up. In a way, I regret I burned the bridge. But I do not regret finally unofficially breaking up with her. This is the changed I've been needing for my life. It should all just be up hill from here.
I have not felt so great in such a long time. I promise you, I'm not being sarcastic. =)

I went to the San Antonio Zoo the other day. It wasn't bad. The only creature there that really caught my eye was this little wild cat called a Sand Cat. It seems to live in the Middle East, according to the map nearby. It had the sweetest little facial features. I cannot see it as being vicious. I went to leave and it was staring back at me, almost as if it was asking "Please... don't go... please?" I just stopped in my tracks and waited till it looked away... and I left. It was adorable.
The only other thing about my day at the zoo is that I got pooped on by a bird. It kinda made my day...

I'm beginning to feel my life is a little screwy right now.
I thought I might as well tell the world so they can tell me just how wrong I'm being.
Here it goes:
Justin- I'm sorry I warned you today. You just wouldn't cheer up. Don't be mad if someone gets on your other sn because you warned them earlier. I missed you when you went to Chicago.
Nay- I figure you won't read this but oh well. Are we really friends? We've known each other since 3rd grade. Now we only communicate like a few times a year. I'm feeling forgotten, just a taken-for-granted friend. I hope your horse riding is coming along quite well. I know you're up at the stables a lot.
Luce- I'm having a hard time seeing the hair. It's just making me feel like 5th grade deja vou. I realy don't wanna go there.
Dulcey- Thanks for understanding. Thanks for being patient while I complain about every little wrong thing in my life.
Liz- What's really freaky about the SN mix up is that I thought that I had been unable to see you for longer than you were saying I must have been blocked. But who cares. It's fixed now.
Elise- yeah the "accoustic bass" (1/2 sized cello) didn't really work. I guess I learned a lesson. How long does it take for blisters to heal? Yowz.
If you want me to tell you something and I left you off, just leave a comment and I'll add you on the next post.

It was really beautiful outside today. I wouldn't go as far as calling it the most beautiful day I have ever seen, but it was pleasant. My dad decided to take my brothers and I down to the Zilker Kite Festival. When we arrived, we found that the parking was the pits. People were parking on either side of the lake, at Austin High, and of course at Zilker. My dad, seeing this, decided not to take us. I wonder what ever gave him that idea? So, instead, we parked at Austin High and hit the Hike and Bike Trail. It was a beautiful day for a walk/ jog. My brothers, dad, and I managed to walk about 1.5 miles (3/4 mile each way).
It was absolutely georgeous outside and I couldn't wait to hit the trail and get some excersize. Unfortunately, my brothers had other intentions. Every 5 minutes, my brothers had to stop and ask a pet owner if they could pet their dog. This went on the whole way. My legs were begging me to take them on a run and get away from them. The trail was so smooth and sun was beating down at just a perfect rate. I couldn't ask much more for a perfect day to run.
But, when it comes down to it, my brothers would have to catch up and stop to pet another dog. The one dog I do remember well, however, was Nicki. She was a 4 month old weiner dog, and the tiniest thing you ever saw. She was named Nicki because her owners recieved her for Christmas. We passed by many other dogs, old and young. There was a baby Golden Retriever who just about excaped her collar. There was another puppy named Abby. There were Dalmations, Standard Poodles, Doxen, Golden Retrievers, Black Labs, long haired, short haired, big, small, you name it.
So when we were done, everyone, but me, was worn out. I never really got the excersize I wanted, but I managed to work up an appetite (which was actually the lack of eating anything all day). So we drove home, picked up my mom, and went out to eat.
Now I'm just sitting back and relaxing, wishing the day could have gone by a little slower so that I could have taken in a few more details of today. I can't help thinking how much today resembled the day in my dream. It was just a tad bit warmer and a little bit more overcast today. Ah, the joys of an Austin early spring. :)

Yesterday was the freakiest day ever. I go to bed at Midnight the night before, being absolutely exhausted, knowing I should have fallen asleep hours before. I wake up at 1pm to see everything as perprotionately off. I could tell I had grown taller. That's not the weirdest of it all. I actually remembered dreaming very vividly.
Here was my dream:
It was Spring Break and my family was going out of town. The sun was warm and everything was bright, just like a perfect spring day. All morning, I had been doing things I had to do to be prepared to go, that is everything but pack. As we were driving out of the driveway to leave for the trip, I remembered that I hadn't packed. My mom is absolutely mad at me for not packing, and I am frustrated at her because I didn't get to pack because I was doing things she had told me I had to do. So in about 15 minutes, I'm packed and we leave.
I vividly remember dreaming this. The crisp spring air, the freshly washed blue van, the lucious green grass, absolutely everything. I have never been so freaked out by a dream, ever. The last time I remember dreaming, period, was years ago. This was absolutely absurd. I swear I went through a 1cm growth spurt.

Life's been goin' pretty swell.
I seem to be doin' rather well.
Life's just one big jamboree.
Makes me want to swing in trees.
When life's not goin' quite so swell,
I find a friend and start to yell.
"My life's not great.
Why is life so full of hate?"
But who cares right now?
I'm full o' wow.
My life's first rate.
Who cares about my honest state?

As you mostly likely have heard, the Varsity MAC orchestra made sweepstakes at UIL. For those who have no idea what sweepstakes is, we recieved a 1 rating in Concert and Sightreading for 3 judges. (1 is the best and 5 is the worst.)
Unfortunately Lanier HS had to go right after us. They made 3's. I have quite a few friends in that orchestra so this kind of bummed my day.
